Penalties and red cards may stultify us out of the game unless we exercise brutal patience - in and outside the box. But do these undisciplined players understand our position in the game ? They ought to have gone to Las Vegas to learn the ropes - I mean sit by the tables and lose a couple of rounds at the roll of some crazy slot already decided up the dais. I will not be surprised if a referee breaks our claws with yellow or red cards at the very inception of the game to demoralize and pave way for a plausible paying client. Football is a game of the titans - referees are chosen not selected, far from generally believed. May Ghana survive all that in the name of the Unseen Pity !

US team are saying the same thing about even Ghanaian team and anytime I come here, all that I hear is "we will surprise them," "we will win" and blah, blah, blah.
It is always good to accept or acknowledge your adversary and plan ahead of the time. Did you read his advice for the coach?
I have been saying that Muntari should never be replaced or come in from the bench. Muntari and Essien are the best we have in the midfield but they hardly play together and that should be changed.
Our defense is weak and therefore with someone like Ronaldo attacking, we need Muntari and Essien to fall back and assist the 'weak' defense. And that is what he is saying.
Then KP Boateng and Asamoah Gyan could be used up front to attackers. That is what he is saying.

Our WEAKNESS is the defense that was why he is talking about defensive midfielders; those who could up and down or falling back always to help.
Since we have these good players and we want to move pass the first stage, we need to use this OPPORTUNITY to bring all the best we have against the team in our group.
And lastly, the THREATS against our success in Brazil are many, including Ronaldo. We need to think about that and find ways to stop him.
KPB has been manned by successful coaches and he is aware of that and that is how he is talking about that.

Again, football/soccer is played by one person ; that one person can make a difference, though. But the strategy is that, you don't give that play-maker or danger man the room to operate.Yeah, you put about 3 or more good dribbler, attacker or someone whom can run very well on him as he gets the ball. Not individually, but at the same moment so as not to get the chance to display.

We have been brought up with "fama Nyame and all things will possible" or " keep on praying and think positive and things will be OK." No wonder Africa finds itself in a cesspool. You can have all the self confidence and determaination in this world, if you failed to lose the sight of your challenges or enemy, you will fail in this world.

To be honest with you,I always laughed it off
when people said with God on our side, we should be victorious.Look, as you rightly said,32 Countries are to Compete. So,if we agree that the Almighty God does not discriminate and all 32 Nations expect the Creator to help them to win their Matches, one would arrive at the Conclusion that Football is

First the Prince Kevin visited Essien and Muntari. Then the Prince and Essien requested to be excused from training apparently to work on fitness and the other for family matters. " He who has the hands on the plow cannot look back"
Then the Prince told the European press that "Silent Killer" Appiah is a young coach and gets help from senior members of the team. The Prince also thinks that it will be tough to beat Portugal and far fetched to win the trophy.
This is something .The Prince has to comport himself within the law and order of Commander " Silent Killer" Appiah. There is a player Boakye Yiadom who scores goals in Spain and he is not afraid of Portugal. There is also "rapid-fire" Essifua who is fearless and willing to die for the country. Then of course there is the future maestro Frank Acheampong who is fearless and plays to last whistle of the referee. He is not afraid of Portugal . Did Commander Appiah say he chose the players based on their CONFIDENCE?
Let all the players concentrate positively on winning and stop muttering defeatist words.
If the Commander wants to include agoro soccer in his arsenal, there are players who will play it to perfection. They are Jordan, Ayew Dede, Atsu, Adomah, Kwadwo Asamoah, and Frank Acheampong. The choice is the coach's. We must carry the entire arsenal and canons to Brazil.
Any player who will not obey the Commander nor want to win or afraid of winning should leave the team immediately. This is action time. About 20 days to go. From now on, time will fly.
FORWARD EVER BACKWARDS NEVER.

Germany: Can be beaten when you take care of Marco Reus and you do not make silly/costly mistakes.
Portugal: Very tough. Use your solid midfielders to cool off Cristiano Ronaldo's effectiveness. Pepe and Lam may be great but aren't great goal scorers. You may get an opportunistic goal or perhaps draw.
Strategy: Ghana should play 3-4-3 and/or 4-4-3 depending on who they're playing. Good luck!
USA: Do not belittle this team. Treat with respect but take every opportunity given to pick up 3 points
Overall: Use my willingness to help Essien and Muntari to choke off opposition's offense.

My brother, the old Black Stars of 1957 1964 lived in a different era. In terms of still they were without equals maybe in the world. Their style, rhythm, pace , energy and confidence was unmatched in this era. What we now called modern football existed in the olden days as an inferior form of soccer.
Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah formed the West African Scccer Federation and tussled with FIFA on many issues. Those days Africa had no berth for the World Cup Finals. One team from Africa has to engage in a play-off with the Europeans. One time we qualified and Kwame" Showboy" Nkrumah called for a boycott. That was in 1962 when Baba Yara the Champion of the Dribblers was playing in living color. In 1966 their was turmoil in the land and the legendary players were over the hill or retired and we had problems with the Morocco for the sole transit qualifying spot.
Had Baba Yara's team participated in the 1962 World Cup , there was a possibility of them winning. Remember we toured Brazil and beat or drew with their teams--Baba Yara versus Garrincha was no contest for Yara. Then Aggrey-Fynn the master playmaker featured well against the Brazilian magicians Vava, Pepe, and Didi. Addo Odametey " The Rock of Gibraltar" was a superior defender than the Brazilian Mario " Extra Two Pair Of Lungs" Zagalo. Our forwards of Ofei Dodoo , Salisu, Bulldozer Mfum, "Sputnik Hell-fire Edward Acquah could score on any team in the world then.
The Old Black Stars of Baba Yara's era played with confidence and willing to die for Ghana with no monetary compensation. They beat Italy 5-2, drew 3-3 with Real Madrid, lost 1-2 to the World IX with Yashin in goal. Brazil won the world cup in 1962.

When the opponents regards you as an underdog they always regret. This is purely a psychological talk. Ghanaian should not criticize him for this.

Only one should start and I'll prefer Muntari because he's good at scoring important goals. Boateng does better in the middle of the park so should be paired with Muntari. Both have powerful shots and cam score from outside the box.

Actually Essien should not go to Brazil. He is not what he was 4 years ago. They should have taken one of those young energetic guys.
Essien is a spent force, these days he only guides the ball without tackling.

If you don't have to much believe in yourself like you have for your opponents, if you don't believe in your coaches directions, If you don't believe in the destiny of the Ghanaian then why are you going to the world cup to represent Ghana? You might as well stay home. There is a reason why, of the 25 million Ghanaians, only a select 23 was chosen with one being Kelvin Prince Boateng to ruthlessly deal with the countries in that group. If you feel incapacitated already, please tell the coach and let him drop you so that a determined player can be put in there. Ghana is not short of players who can do strategic jobs

WAT DO U MEAN IT WILL BE TOUGH? IF U DONT WANNA PLAY, U KNOW WAT TO DO. WE WANT PLAYERS WHO BELIEVE THEY CAN BEAT EVERY TEAM IN THE GROUP N TOP THE GROUP.
KB already set himself up for failure, pitiful!
if there can be fairly judgement then we can beat them.
Ghana can beat any group including Portugal with the usual 'GHANA JUJU'...hmmmm maybe NOT.

KP should master courage and stop throwing his hands in despair. Even long before the actual show down he had already tipped Brazil and Spain in the grand finale. Where is your confidence level to play in the team KP?
The guy only expressed his views, of which he is totally entitled to. And on paper I think he is right. That howver, will not determine the outcome of what actually happen on the field. In football anything can happen.
Thank u Africanus for giving this guy the appropriate answer. Some Ghanaians just hate KPB,may be for personal reasons. They should remember he is one of the stars in Brazil and he is indispensable.

2. Spain is on top
3. Germany has a great team
4. Brazil is on top
5. He has predicted a Spain vs Brazil final.
