Representatives of government agencies billed to appear before the Judgement Debt Commission are consistently failing to locate relevant files on compensations to make available to the Commission for perusal.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on Wednesday, represented by Mr. Kojo Awuah-Peasah, External Resource Mobilization Officer, told the Commission the Ministry could not trace the file for Ghc340,000.00 land compensation made to unidentified persons in 2010.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Justice and Attorney-General represented by Mrs. Dorothy Afriyie Anssh, could also not produce before the Commission a file relating to a petition for payment of judgment debt to Kwasi Adjei and two others.

Their relatives had been killed in an accident involving Ghana Armed Forces fire engine vehicle and a Kia Truck at Kintampo.

Group Captain Appiah-Agyekum, had said in an earlier sitting in May this year that a Board of Enquiry commissioned to investigate the case faulted the two drivers for neglect and recommended payment of compensation to the survivors.

Counsel to the Commission told journalists on Thursday that a file concerning retired police officers, though the Attorney-General was aware of the case, could not find it.
