If you want to know those behind the killing of the Afro Americans in Akosombo then read this. According to the story" The two who are leaders of the African American community in Akwamu were recently accused by the Chieftaincy Minister, Dr. Seidu Danaa, of illegally acting as chiefs."
"Private legal practitioner, Samson Lardy Anyenini late last year brought a suit on behalf of the leaders and against the Chieftaincy Minister whom they alleged had supported one Osofo to mistreat them using national security.
The Osofo was named in the suit as claiming right to the symbolic stool and skin created by the national house of chiefs to reintegrate disaporians.
Samson says that suit was withdrawn earlier this year after the Attorney-General (A-G) called for an amicable settlement."
The question is if the government has declared the status of the Afro Americans as an illegality, why did the Attorney General beg that the issue should be withdrawn from court. The answer is simple. Withdraw the case, kill the Afro Americans and case die.

Changing depreciation method can result in profits. Yes! But the real question is, why did the previous management use heavier depreciation of assets? I can adduce one reason; to depreciate the assets on paper faster so as to sell them on at book value (note 'book value' tends to under-value assets.) Those who buy these assets when sold would have bought them on the cheap. The company would then have to replace those assets with new ones at heavier costs leading to punitive cash-flows. And the cycle goes on. Accelerated depreciation can therefore be an avenue for asset-stripping or pillaging for private gain.
It therefore seems to me that Awuah Darko rather changed the depreciation method to stop this outcome and to save the asset-stripping. This resulted in 8.1million profit in 2014. As a result, the company would use its assets longer before replacements are due or done.
In accounting depreciation method, ratios, and most analytical tool are not scientific. They are arbitrary.
Depreciation for example has no effect on cash-flow unless non-current assets are liquidated.
So for an article to call for them now as if the choice of method or ratio og the writer is superior is spurious.
