Now read the paragraph 1 of your STUPID essay:
THE POLITICS OF RELIGION AND THE RELIGION OF POLITICS
It is not quite certain if the constitutional affirmation of the freedom of conscience, of the press and speech, and of religion have anything to do with the confused state of affairs in the Fourth Republic. Certainly, what is rather in question is the sweeping decadence or declension in the standards of moral values. This spans the religious, political and social spaces. The trend is worrisome indeed! Therefore, the exegetical rationalism of cause and effect tend to lose any deeper sense of direction in the relations of political constitutionalism and collective responsibility.

A depressing portrait of our beloved Ghana, but, a true reflection. How sad. The comparison between these evil pastors and our politicians is so apposite - a narrative of our retrogression as a society since 1966.

Again, put a grain of maize , a good one, in the soil and provide it with all the necessary requirements. Within a week, you should see a sprout. I must tell you , Kwarteng, you're a big fool. James, do u have to mention my name in your negative comment on Francis' article, which was clearly beyond your intellectual capacity and comprehension?
Do u really think Bishop Duncan Williams and his teeming flock who prayed for the cedi to stop falling, perhaps, he/they also believed evil dwarfs were responsible for the fall, are any different from Obinim and the Bempahs of this world? Or the Kweku Bonsams?
Or different from Mensah Otabil and his flock who were bad-mouthing the Big Bang Theory and Evolution recently?
And the millions of Ghanaians who believe that the universe was created by a god some 6000 plus years ago, if Muslim, 60000 years ago?
Indeed, those two jokers are simply a reflective of the Ghanaian society and people in its pristine macabre form: cosmology and cosmogony firmly stucked in the primitive, substantive rationalisation modes! That's all Nyebro Francis is highlighting! I know it'd take some of you not less than another ten years before it dawns on you.
When I was pointing out the religious menace in the early to mid '90s on the Okyeame forum, people like you were ridiculing me. Just take a look at the landscape today.
No wonder, Ken Kuranchie came out of prison and pronounced that Ghanaians were not civilised!

The actions and pronunciations of the two 'pastors' in question reflect the prevailing malaise of the country. Ghana has become a country where the art critical thinking has diminished to the point of despondency. How sad!
