Ex King Faisal manager Malam Yahaya forced a bitter pill down the throat of his former employer Alhaji Grusah as he lead Nzema Kotoko to pip the former Premier League campaigners by a lone goal.

A 36th minute strike by Amos Kofi Nkrumah ensured the former Black Stars midfielder picked bact-to-back wins over the Kumasi-based side.

Amos connected excellently when Paul Danso’s through pass found him one-on-one with the King Faisal goalie.

Amos lifted the ball over the goalie, placing it neatly under the roof of the net to hand Nzema Kotoko the only goal of the afternoon.

The win means that Malam Yahaya has led the spirited Nzema Kotoko side to pick their second win over the Insha Allah boys after he registered a 2-0 win in the first leg in Nzema.

The win has pushed Nzema Kotoko to 5th on the 16-team table with 26 points.

Malam Yahaya picked the team from 15th position with 3 points and has since been instrumental in pushing the team up.
