NO TOLL BOOTH ON FUFULSO-SAWLA ROAD
Why is there no Toll Booth on the 140 Km Alsphatic Fufulso-Sawla Road? Is it because the road leads to Prez Mahama's hometown? Is this not contrary to the national road policy? Why is Prez Mahama permitting this treachery? The Accra-Kumasi road is about 200 Km yet has 3 Toll Booths. The Accra-Aflao Road is less than 200Km and also has 3 Toll Booths. What about the Accra-Aburi Road? The road is less than 50Km and yet has a Toll Booth. By using the National Road Standard for siting toll booths the Fufulso-Sawla road should have had at least 2 Toll Booths but nay, there is no single toll booth on that stretch of road 3years after its construction and Mahama is happy with that. This same Mahama will later turn around to say that there is no money to employ teachers and nurses and later go and borrow money at high interest rate to construct roads. Is this prudent management of the Ghanaian economy or are Ghanaians now colonized by the Western Gonja Caliphate and so other Ghanaians should sweat for Mahama's Family and friends. Who knows, may be the money used for the construction of the Fufulso- Sawla Road is part of the money Kufuor secured for the construction of the Hydro-dam in the Upper East Region and which was later divert by the NDC government to construct roads in the Northern Region - the home region of President Mahama. May God save us from the evil hands of Mahama

The real problems with this deifying of Dr Bawumiah is that we forget that figures have no real meaning until it has actually been torn apart and put together again.
The fraud claim by Dr Bawumiah was so convincing, it got a hearing at the Supreme Court. It is not how convincing an argument is. Finally, they the NPP agreed that they have no case.
The likes of Dr Bawumiah can send a Government on wild goose chase because there is no stipulated punitive action for false claims. It is so simple for a Party without a message to pour scorn on all the achievements of Government by introducing statistics of varying degrees - some false, some true. But how could one get to the true ones and what are we going to do with the report any way?
For President material who sit in his Office with full knowledge that a Ministry is under-performing and wait until faire accompplie is a Textbook Presidential material.
No country is an Island and some years are good years and others abysmal globally. Issues are addressed appropriately when they are raised at correct given times. If Dr Bawumiah has compiled 170 indicators which he wishes the Government to comment on, 100 correct and 70 incorrect, what happens then? In the meantime, he is working on another such compilations. As critics operates, reports are sifted and used to stall Governments with progressive messages. Now Government functionaries will be defending this mythical growth of the economy issues raised by Dr Bawumiah instead of building roads, dams, hospitals and expanding farming (Operation Feed Yourself).
This has been the UP position from inception. Wagging the ruling the Party with needless statistics. Agriculture rose by 2% in 2010 and then fell by 3% in 2011 thereafter there was sustained growth from 2012. What factors contributed to this rise and fall? - Mismanagement or fraud? Global challenges or regional specific issues - flood, bad roads etc.?
Crime rose by so and so percent but down in so and so year. It is apparent that figures available to the NDC Government is equally obtainable by the Parties in Opposition.
If IMANI said one statement from Dr Bawumia is false and also another accredited body claim one statement is false, then why waste time to sift through when most of the electorates as the Osagyefo realised were individuals who were happy with what was happening on the ground.
If forever, a farmer had a very good harvest, that farmer knows he had a very good harvest. If drought affected farms, farmers will hardly blame the Government. However, in this pink sheet type exercise, the farmer will not be invited to tell us drought affected yield and they have not blamed the Government of the day. Their indicators in judging the Government will be by other factors outside their farming profession.
By and large, an academia, like an experienced lawyer mesmerises the laymen with words leaving us to go to the roots. These figures - all 200 should have found home with Institutions that are paid salaries to collate these data with footnotes, meaning if you wilfully under-perform you lose your job. All stake holders are therefore aware of underlying reasons for all these data presented to the public if it must see daylight. Plainly speaking, therefore, they are useless pieces being presented at crucial times when the Presidential Candidate has become a Political Journalist collating information at last minute to woo voters who may believe EVERYTHING COMING FROM THE STABLE OF DR BAWUMIAH is factual and true.
I will be very worried in a period like this and for this I will be in agreement with The Chief of Staff. Lies can damage or waste your valuable time - which?

The desperation that has gripped Mahama and the NDC has become such that a very simple exercise of responding to what the whole NDC gov't and party claims are lies, has become a problem for the party with the Chief of Staff now saying the NDC party and gov't should not respond to what they claim are lies. Have you heard something like that before?
You see what Mahama, Amissah-Arthur, Debrah and Co are not getting is, the issues raised by Bawumia on the ticket of the NPP are the issues of Ghanaians all across this country.
THEY ARE NOT NPP OR BAWUMIA'S ISSUES, THEY ARE ISSUES OF GHANA AND THE GHANAIAN and does not know NPP, NDC, PPP, NDP, etc, etc.
The strong attempt by Mahama to move away from the issues and pivot to his comfort zone of violence, insults, thuggery, chaos and mayhem witnessed after the issues were raised with the most notable being what happened in Odododiodio with Nii Lantey Vanderpuye is not scare the issues away because, they are there and not going anywhere. Actually it is compounding.
Ghana is demanding Mahama and Amissah-Arthur respond to the issues if they claim they are lies and can respond with the truth. Ghana in the face of the huge failure of the Mahama NDC gov't is waiting for the "truth" in their response and they must respond now!.
