WE the Ashantis don't care about Nana Addo's political appointments. No we not gonna give Nana hard time doing his appointments. All we care is competent and corrupt-free Ghanaians who can lead the country into success. But Nana should bear in mind that despite the massive support we Ashantis give him, we will be the first Region to start opposing him should things start to go the wrong way as NDC has done. Fairness, togetherness, transparency improvement in Ghanaian lives are all that we Ashantis want to see.

I don't think Mahama has a plan to come back 2020 to lead the NDC into 2020 elections. If he has, how can he do this and come back in 2020 to convince Ghanaians that he has Ghana at heart? He knows very well that JJ is taking over NDC and he will have no say in the party. His plan now is to move to Dubai and become a multi- international businessman. I did not think such a man could be so wicked to his own country he has led for 6 years.

Fellow NPPians, stop your murmur, for the same God who won the elections for NPP despite all the international rigging machinations is still in control. All these Mahama appointees will be neutralized when Nana starts to introduce fairness, transparency and integrity into his style of government. These people who belong to the dark cannot stand the light of the day. At the end they will either resign by themselves or change ways and follow the light.

I am very sure Nana has learned a lesson from what happened to the nation when after the 1966 coup when all Nkrumah projects were abandoned by the NLC government of Afrifa at the behest of the IMF and the World Bank. The abandonment of the projects has contributed to the present poor economic development of the nation and the massive youth unemployment in the country. If possible Nana's government should complete all uncompleted projects of the present government before new ones are initiated by his government. Priority should be given to the completion of those projects which will help accelerate the rapid development of the country:those which will stimulate economic activities and create jobs.

I caution Ghanaians to subject everything Akufo-Addo says to doubt.
During the 8 years of the Kufuor administration, parliament voted enormous funds for roads construction and school buildings.
The NPP left office without the construction of most of the roads and the classrooms for which parliament had voted funds.
Dr Richeard Anane, for example, still owes Ghanaians explanation for why some of the designated roads were not constructed. The ministry of education must be investigated for awarding construction of school buildings to fake contractors who did not execute what they had been paid; no wonder some of them were not paid.
Japan offered millions of $$$$ grant to the Kufuor administration to improve the Accra-Cape Coast highway. After the NPP left office, the Accra-Cape Coast highway has remained a death trap with a high rate of accidents. That highway was not built according to modern engineering and safety standards.
In that regard, Ghanaians must be skeptical when another NPP government talks about building this or that road. The NPP guys are very good at chopping government money and covering it up. They sold Ghana's oil drilling ship and part of the proceeds went into thin air, so to speak.
We have to be more vigilant this time.
FORWARD EVER!

Nana Addo is contradicting his own spokesman at the Transition, Mr Osafo Marfo which is good news for those of us who value infrastructure. The problem is that JM was doing so many projects in all sectors across the country that if Nana intends to complete all, he would hardly have time and the resources for his own projects which he promised. The Eastern corridor road alone would consume a huge chunk of the money. That would be the trap for him as he can't take credit for JM 's work and would not complete his own promises. Good luck to him anyway.

The projects initiated by president Mahama still remain as misplaced priority from and are from an incompetent Maama(appology to president elect). Please don't attempt to continue Mahama's project otherwise you will become incompetent Akufu Addo or expose your self as the lair you are.
