Ghanaian defender Denis Appiah’s position in RSC Anderlecht is under threat following the club’s desire to purchase a right back before the transfer window shuts.
The former Caen marauding right-back has been one of the club’s poor performers in the early stage of the Belgian PRO Jupilar league, having failed to complete full throttle of the side's three games in the league.
The Pauple-White lads are in market searching for a new right back to purchase after falling short in that position following an injury to first choice Andy Najar.
Anderlecht sent scouts to monitor FC Porto’s offensive right back Ricardo Pereira in their game against Tondela over the weekend as they seek to cement that position before the window ends.
Appiah made 17 appearances for the club last term as they clinched the Belgian league title.
