Anas took $50,000 bribe to drop my investigation -

Anas spends money to put together his exposes; and then recovers his expenses by showing his findings to the public who are happy to pay for the enlightenment he bestows on them.

Therefore if a corrupt official or person caught by Anas fears the implications of exposing his corrupt practices decides to plead with Anas for mercy, forgiveness and withdrawal of the expose, then that corrupt person must pay for the cost of putting together that particular piece.

So I don't see any corruption on the part of Anas here. I a sure it costs him about the same $100,000 to build his pieces. If God can forgive sinners; then Anas a human who is possibly "religious" should be able to forgive some of the corrupt persons he covers depending on the nature of each particular case.

Perhaps Anas realised after speaking with the suspect that he missed put on certain pieces of key evidence which must be there to build a strong legal case against the suspect. In a situation like that if the sinner does not dispute his accusation and is willing to cover Anas' cost, it will be proper for case to be dropped at the cost of the sinner.

In the case of Nyantakyi and his NPP cronies however, the accusation is of a biblical proportion and should NOT be dropped for any amount of money that may be offered by the suspects.
