A member of the soon to be dissolved Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association Albert Commey has suggested that next GFA should do away with the statue that allows a GFA President to appoint his own Vice.
According to Commey, who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, the mandate given to FA President to hire and fire his own deputy should be scrapped.
"One thing I would love to see corrected is the statutes that mandates an FA President to appoint his own Vice and also fire anytime, I think it should be scrapped so we go back to the old system and make sure our finances go through the right process not only one person before it's approved or otherwise," Commey told Oyerepa FM.
"Not only that but also our electoral system should be looked at again"
"There are a lot of things we have to do, we have to be more transparent in terms of availing ourselves to the media more than we are doing so Ghanaians know what's going on"
"I believe it will eradicate the notion about football, I don't agree with the perception that we (EXCO) failed Ghanaians "
