Augustine Ahinful has thrown his weight behind the Normalization Committee claiming that there should be no qualms should their mandate be extended.
The four-member committee has less than two weeks to execute their mandate after they were named by FIFA to steer the affairs of Ghana football in October 2018 last year after premiering of the ‘Number 12’ video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
There have been calls made by some football gurus that the mandate of the committee should not be extended should they fail to execute the mandate.
However, the former Ghanaian international believes the mandate of the Normalization Committee should be extended to help them execute their mandate properly.
“I have no problem with the extension, is help to help normalize and bring back our football,” he spoke to Joy FM.
“I just hope they resolve issues with the Clubs so our football will return soon.”
The Normalization Committee was set up to run Ghana Football in place of the GFA executive committee which was dissolved by the FIFA.
