Rawlings must be hanged; he’s a walking illegali

Boakye-Djan really ought to wake up from his slumber. He has conveniently and deliberately forgotten that when Hilla Liman was overthrown, JJ Rawlings had been forcibly retired from the Ghana Air Force by the same President Liman and was a mere civilian going round on a motor bicycle. How did he manage to stage a military coup when he had even been barred from Burma Camp and didn't have access to any of the military installations? Boakye-Djan would do himself a favour by telling the story as it happened instead of using
radio stations to demonise JJ Rawlings. The Liman government was overthrown by Sgt. Anloga Akatapore and his band of junior officers. When the coup succeeded, they went and brought in JJ Rawlings from his premature retirement to be their chairman. Where I would be in agreement with Boakye-Djan is if he had said that it was an act of illegality and a treasonable offence for a uniformed military person or persons to take up arms to overthrow a democratically elected government and that Rawlings knew that very well and therefore should not have accepted to be their chairman. So Boakye-Djan ought come out with the real facts. Also how did he manage to secure a place at Kings College London, to take a post-graduate course in War Studies. Who sponsored him or where did he get funding from?.
