Ghana defender Baba Rahman has been named in L’Equipe’s Team of the Week for Africans playing in the five major European Leagues.
The former Dreams FC star earned his place after his man of the match performance for Stade Reims against PSG on the final day of the French Ligue 1 season.
The Chelsea loanee scored and provided an assist as Reims recorded a shock 3-1 win over the Champions.
He has been named in Ghana’s 29-man provisional squad ahead of the 2019 Africa Cip of Nations in Egypt.
Others who made the cut are Franck Kessié (Ivory Coast – AC Milan), Mbaye Niang (Senegal – Rennes) and Hamed Junior Traoré (Ivory Coast – Empoli).
