Former Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has eulogized Cameroonian legend Samuel Eto'o Fils who recommended him to Turkish side Antalyaspor four years ago.
The 30-year-old, who now plays for Georgian side Samtredia spent a season at the club in 2016 after making 15 appearances.
The former Basel and D.C United right-back played alongside the former Barcelona star at the Turkish club.
Inkoom in an interview has revealed his special relationship with the iconic former African Footballer of the Year.
"Eto'o's initiative and merit was that I moved to Antalya, Turkey. He was the one who recommended me. He is a wonderful friend and a great person. As a player, I can't say anything about him. Everyone knows how big a figure he is and how successful he has been at Barcelona and Inter.
"The period spent directly in Turkey reminds me well. Playing in the Super League was a big challenge. They have some of the best fans in the world."
