This is a very sad incident. But why kill the innocent lion. A lion will always be an aggressive animal if kept in cages most of its life. Its a shame that the very person who fed the lion since birth was killed by the very lion. But there was no need to kill the lion. It could have been tranquillised so the keeper saved or body taken out. This must be a lesson to everyone. Lions will always be lions. May this zookeeper rest in peace. Like a student mentioned it was an accident through human error of not closing the feeding cage.
