Even if Nawalny had the chance to stand against Putin, Putin would have won with about 60 to 40. The fact is: the West don't like him, but his own people like him and fortunately for him: it is not the West who are casting votes in Russia. Russians are voting.

Ask yourself: which of his opponents was truly a match for Putin? All of them may be likened to Joe Osei Wusu and Ndoum of Ghana, none of them had more than 1%.
