  Mr Bones, why are you comparing oranges and apples. These two cases has nothing. The statue was stolen from Egypt. The Ashanti artifacts are not stolen items. These items belongs to the British. You may not like it but that is the fact. Please point me to one historical record that Saye that the British stole hold from Ashanti Kigdom. They went to war, they won and they took BOOTY. That is not stealing. Read your Bible and you will find numerous examples. The British were magnanimous enough to have have taken records so at least we know what they took away and they did melt and sell them as me and you would have done.
  
  The truth is bitter but let us accept the truth. Mind you the Asantehene and his elders are very very knowledgeable. If the items were stolen, they would have mounted a challenge andcretrieved them long ago.
  
  The facts are that these items are not stolen items. At this point in time, they are the property of the British not Asanteman. You may choose to.insult me but that is the truth and that is where all argument and comments should start from
