  African democracy is a farc! It's about the big men coming to power to take loans with huge interests from the IMF and the World Bank and the poor citizenry pay back the loans through paying of taxes. If coup leaders manage their state resources very well and let it benefit their citizens, they are far better than democratic governments. Democracy is a name of a governance system and it means nothing if it let ordinary citizens dwell in abject poverty while the elites loot state funds to enjoy better life.
