is more just than the family of the victim agreeing with the offender to be freed if he is able to pay the blood money which is compensation to the family? Do you know the livelihoods that woud be affected as a result of the death? If he has children, who is going to take care of them? Those are exactly what blood money seeks to cure.

Finally, it appears it's only African countries that don't care about the lives of its citizen. Kenyan Government can pay that money so the man gains his freedom. Is that difficult to do?
