  the miscalculated error Tinubu made was to have an idealistic economic strategy based on PowerPoint thinking and not the reality of what the state of the economy was in and the impact of which by implementing his PowerPoint strategy would cause. In simple terms by withdrawing all the subsidies that were in place on taking office has caused more citizens to go into poverty and further reduced GDP per capita. He should have left things in place in the short term whilst incentivising companies to grow and increase pay for their workers THEN start to withdraw the subsidies over a period of time. Nigerians don't have buying power across most of the population, there are the exceptions so Tinubu has shot himself in the foot. Another thoughtless buffoon like our own Akuffo Addo...
