Justice was not served for the bereaved family in that case. If a court's ruling isn't enforceable then it isn't any good.

Anne Sacoolas isn't in any jail in the UK today or has she ever been since the accident (She offcourse left the UK to avoid jail time). She wasn't the diplomat but a spouse of a diplomat.

The bereaved family fought hard to have Anne Sacoolas extradited to the UK but to no avail. She didn't accept the money President Trump offered her to keep the peace.

In the end justice was not served and the fight the victim's mother put up was by her own efforts she wasn't supported by the UK government because it is a moot point since there are already immunity laws for diplomats and their dependents while in any foreign country.
