Let's ask for their Wisdom not their monetary compensation. They can give us all the money in the world and we'll even be worse than we were before. Africa needs to think and eschew greed and selfishness.

I disagree when African people talk about reparations to be paid to Africa as a result of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. Who fought and captured conquered Africans to be sold as Slaves? It were the Africans who fought each other and captured conquered people to be sold into slavery. This was not started by the Europeans.
Have we heard about the Ghana, Mali, and Songhai Empires? Yes, it were Africans who fought each other and sold defeated ones into slavery. Who do we blame then?
Presently imagine the wrecking of the economy of African countries by their Politicians? Who do we blame then? Just mention one African country where the Politicians are not stealing the country’s money to deposit them in Western Europe , the USA, and Canada. Can we blame Europeans people for the thievery of African Politicians. Mahama, how much have you stolen from Ghana? How many dubious means have your brother Ibrahim used to steal from Ghana? Is he not one of the Richest people in Ghana? How did he become that rich? Didn’t you try to sell Ghana’s Manganese concessions to him. John, stop talking about that nonsense of Reparations. Africans, especially those from the West are the cause of our own doom. It is the ever present endemic corrupt mindset and practices which have swept across Africa like wildfire that Knucklehead President Mahama must table whatever about, but not African Cash Reparations from anyone.
If the cash is given as reparations, you, our leaders, will surely squander it all owing to your incompetence coupled with corrupt behaviours.
It is a useless and fruitless exercise and Knucklehead Mahama should think of something far, far, better and transformative for our African cause.
