  It's not disgusting. That's what countries do for their citizens in times of natural disasters. Africans can respond to this disaster by collecting monetary donations from citizens in every African country, with these funds forwarded to the all the Caribbean nations that have been hardly hit by this natural disaster. Many of our countries may be struggling financially, but we can at least do what little part we can to help those now displaced by the natural disaster.

  African countries should respond differently by taking collections in all African countries to send to Jamaica and other hard-hit Caribbean island nations. Any form of assistance, no matter how small, will go a long ways to help in the recovery efforts of those island nations. Each African President should appeal to their citizens to start a donation campaign, with funds directly sent to registered aid groups in the Caribbean that will then determine how to apportion any aid received.
