  Don't forget that the same USA trained Osama bin Laden and his group in the mountains of Afghanistan as they battled to drive out the Russians and the Afghan government that they supported. Before long, the USA was in Afghanistan for a full-scale combat duty that lasted years. It usually takes a so-called small band of trainers to mislead the world before the real intent is finally exposed. Something has to be wrong with the colossal Nigerian military if it takes a hundred USA soldiers to come in and train them to fight against the rag-tag jihadists bandits. What type of training have the Nigerian soldiers been undergoing all these years as they battled Boko Haram and the Jihadists? Nigeria brought this headache upon itself by allowing religion to seep into government, especially a religion that has no tolerance or room for compromise in its veins. Governments should grant all religions the freedom to practice their faith freely, but not to have a religious group have competing police services that engage in stupid acts like arresting its members who fail to fast or allegedly making blasphemous statements, or even exercising sharia law that clearly goes contrary to the nation's laws.
