Ghana athletics should have fundraising dinners to solicit funds to aid these promising athletes secure overseas scholarships in schools. The regional athletic associations should do the same, engage in raffles..collect gate fees at zonal competitions etc. If we had athletic facilities in every regional school, capital,.district etc. Gh will produce much better athletes that this. These retired athletes should do like their colleagues in other countries are doing. Offer clinics, track academies.for.these up.and coming youngsters. This is business...
