'All 4 Real' To Do Big Show On Dec. 30th

Ofori AmponsahA concert designed to celebrate the contribution of Ofori Amponsah, a Ghanaian contemporary highlife musician, towards the arts in Ghana. The concert would have him perform some of his music over the seven years that he has been at the limelight of local music.

It is dubbed the ?Changing Face Concert? because it would show the development of Amponsah from when he got onto the music scene as a debut artiste till he swept the board at the last Ghana Music Award and beyond that. Assisted by a live band, Ofori Amponsah would serenade the audience with good music for about an hour and half.

Though it is a concert meant for Ofori Amponsah to play at lengthy most of his hit songs to his fans, other local artistes who have carved a name for themselves in their preferred area hiplife and highlife would also perform. They include, Wutah, Praye and A. B. Crentsil.

The concert has been scheduled to take place at the National Theatre, Accra on Saturday, December 30, 2006.

The organising of this concert is two main organisations with support from a third one mainly:

Dee Squard Entertainment Consult Ltd, a company that was recently incorporated with the objective of organising cutting edge entertainment programmes artiste management, radio and television production among others.

The responsibilities of this organisation include technical, sponsorship and general organisation of the event.

4reez Westside Entertainment, the company that manages Ofori Amponsah, Kofi Nti and other musicians. This organisation would provide artistic and financial support to organise the concert.

Peace FM, an Accra-based radio station would give a hand in the area of publicity and sponsorship for the concert.

Dee Squared Entertainment has contracted Ghana?s leading event organiser Charterhouse Productions to put the show together. With their unmatched experience in the area of event productions such as this, it is believed the programme will come off very successful.
