Many have wondered how the world would have been without music. Music is now used at all times in a man’s life; here one can say it is truly the food for the soul be it Gospel or Secular.
Danny Darko’s musical talent started showing at the age of seven when he was by then staying with his grandfather a then Reverend Minister and head of the choir in the Methodist church. He then joined the Presbyterian Church at age 15 as the youth choir director after the death of his grandfather.
His passion for music grew higher and his desire was to do charismatic songs so he started worshipping with the Ashaiman Number 2 Branch of the Action Chapel International. He is the choir director for that branch and has decided to minister God’s words through music.
Danny with the help of his area head Rev. James Ofori Attah has been able to put together an eight tracked album. The songs on the album are in three categories that is Praise, worship and thanksgiving. Some of the songs on the album include “Ndaase”, “Nim die”, “do ben ni”, “Ahen mu hen”, “Bue me ni” and “Twe ben no”. The music although was sang in the local language has a foreign touch with the aid of his sound engineer Jeffrey Churchill.
The Akwapim man Danny says he gets his inspiration when he is alone and thinking very deep about life. His aim behind this album is to help widows; that is he will try and establish a business for them and to unearth young men and women with music talent.
The album was launched on the 1st of December at the Action Chapel International on the Spintex road and supporting artiste were Kwasi Oteng and Justice Owen the winner for the 2007 stars of the future.
