The music industry is full of surprises, acrimony, pettiness, lyrical beefing, backbiting and uncertainties. The kind of rivalry that is permeating the defense wall of some of the artistes leaves much to be desired. The most common rival is snatching of colleague’s girlfriends.
It has become a common norm nowadays that most of these artistes fancy going out with their friends “babes” with impunity, the intention, your guess is as good as mine.
But what is happening now between Kofi Nti and Agya Bomofour if not checked could explode to self-destruction and pandemonium after could be disaster, whiles the girl in question will continue her shameless act and disgraceful ineptitude
It is alleged that Egya Quame Bomofour has been dating this young beautiful Ghanaian-born “Italiano” (name withheld) and they have plans of going to the altar any moment from now. The girl who resides in Italy had a problem with his fiancée before Bomofour and colleagues embarked on a European tour recently with Screwface, Kwabena-Kwabena and Reggie Zippy.
Without allowing the dust to settle between (the lady and the ex-husby) she started going out with Bomofour and were in serious relation until they (artistes) retuned home with the hope that they are coming to prepare for the all important marriage.
Right around the same time Ofori Amponsah and Kofi Nti had also arrived in Italy for a show. Not long after their arrival and the departure of Bomofour it was alleged that the girl was “seeing” Kofi Nti to the extent that the former boyfriend of the lady was at the hill of Kofi Nti that he is going out with his fiancée.
Speaking to your authoritative Weekly Fylla, Bomofour said when he was told of the alleged infidelity of the lady he confronted her straight away but she vehemently denied it. “She only told me that Kofi Nti had approached her to be his personal secretary.
I knew she couldn’t do it taking into consideration her little knowledge about the industry. So I told her not to do it and she promised not even to see him again, that was all” the bemused hiplifer revealed.
“After that I started my own investigations and I was told by close friends from Italy that indeed the two had been spotted out together on several occasions especially during their shows. “I tried to reach my woman but she did not pick the phone until she called herself to confirm the story and pleaded for forgiveness. I don’t know why Kofi want my lady maybe he can explain better.” the artist asked.
When Kofi Nti was contacted he simply denied the story saying there is no iota of truth in the case. “The girl in question was dating a certain guy in Italy called Henry, he might be the person who is doing this propaganda, he has been going round spreading all these falsehoods” he claimed and continued, If this is what they are doing to tarnish my hard won reputation then it will backfire. The allegation is meaningless and if it is attention-seeking by some one to score or promote himself then I must say the ploy has failed”.
Kofi admitted on a telephone conversation that, he in fact had told the lady to be his personal secretary “I was even joking”, and that was all I can say.
When contacted Mr. Anane Frimpong revealed that he also heard about the alleged fidelity of the two but could not say whether is true or false. He told Weekly Fylla, that Kofi and Ofori were staying with him until Kofi decided otherwise but has seen the two on a few occasion but can’t tell whether they were into any relationship. He promised to meet the two to settle whatever bad blood exists between them.
It was alleged that due to this Henry who was part of the organizers sabotage the program twice by canceling the Nightclub gigs and Frimprince confirmed this. In an answer to a suggestion, Frimprince agree that it might have something to do with Quame-Kofi and the lady issue, “I am aware that there was problem between the girl and Henry but blame the girl if it is true that she was going out with any of them”
According to a source close to Weekly Fylla, the issue has infuriated Ofori Amponsah so much so that he is contemplating on how to discontinue producing Kofi Nti or not for the alleged disgrace he is bringing on the family.
The source revealed that, Ofori whose latest album with platinum tracks like Kwame ko’, ‘Barbeque’, ‘Yaa Boakyewaa’, ‘Nothing but Love’ and ‘Highlife Dancing’ has just been released onto the market, is mad with his able lieutenant for all that is currently happening and may end the good romantic time they have been enjoying so far. All effort to get Ofori proved futile as his phone was “belling” without response.
Bomofour has just launched his latest album “ZAKIA” and he is in Kumasi promoting it and Kofi Nti is in the studios working on his next project, and if what we have heard by Ofori Amponsah is true then it is going to have a great repercussion on the boy. If readers will remember, Ofori Amponsah was the brain behind the blockbuster-hit track “Rakia” and the man who has made Kofi Nti what he is today.
