As part of Ghana?s independence golden jubilee celebrations, gospel musicians in the country are set to perform in a gospel festival which would simultaneously be held in all the 10 regions on January 28
The nation-wide event is being organized by the Musicians? Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) in conjunction with the National Planning Committee (NPC) under the patronage of H.E President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Dubbed Ghana @ 50 Gospelfest, the events, which begin at 5pm in all venues except Kumasi which starts at 2pm, is meant to praise God and unite the people of this country to implore His blessings in the atmosphere of the jubilee celebrations.
The venue for the Accra event will be the Forecourt of the State House whiles in Kumasi it will take place at the Centre for National Culture.
In Koforidua, Takoradi and Sunyani, the festival would be held at the Jackson Park, P.W.D Park as well as Centre for National Culture respectively.
Other venues are London Bridge at Cape Coast, Weozor Hotel in Ho, the Center for National Culture at Tamale, the Catholic Social Center at Bolgatanga and the Community Center in Wa.
