2VM, an up and coming Ghana based music group has set June 17 of 2016 as the release date for its new single, as a sign in debut into Ghana music industry. The single titled ‘Wobedem’, an Akan word literally mean ‘you will go to prison’ is put together to challenge African leaders to chart a new course for the continent, by turning a new leaf from their corrupt ways which has brought shame and backwardness to Africa.
The RnB and Afro pop artistes, Morgan onyebuchi and victor ihiasonwu; a fusion of two West African richest countries citizens namely Ghana and Nigeria have undoubtedly contracted the activist spirit of Ghana’s fastest rapper, Sarkodie.
Sarkodie, of recent, has been releasing songs reflecting his views on national issues, which reflects the views of the general public as a result of it acceptance by the Ghanaian public.
Towing this lane, the artistes said, will not only influence the society to be a better place, but also encourage good music younger generation could relate with.
2VM have vowed to make a difference as they join the army of entrants competing for Ghanaians audience.
“Our zeal to make a success out of our career is overwhelming; as the passion is real, so also the skill to make our cherished audience happy with our melody and lyrics,” they said.
