With the announcement of the nominees for the eleventh MOBO Awards, we're happy to announce that Lexyifri?s artiste, Batman has been nominated for ?Best African Act? Award. Other artistes in that category are Lebo, P Square, Tony Tetuila and Jose Chameleone.

My boy, your boy, everyone?s boy, Batman is up for the award. His nomination alone shows he has set a path by being the first Ghanaian artiste to be nominated by the organizers of MOBO awards.

The MOBO Awards 2006 is set to be one of the most exciting shows in its 11-year history.

Batman's nomination comes courtesy of his successful debut and featurings he has done. Earlier this year, he released his second album, titled, ?Samini?, which is also picking up gradually.

On September 20th, Batman will find out if whether he will go home with the ?Best African Act? Award. We all wish him but you can start voting for him at www.mobo.com if you want him to grab that place.

This year's award?s ceremony will be held at Royal Albert Hall hosted by Gina Yashere and will also be broadcasted by BBC 2 at 9pm.

Congratulations to Batman again for being nominated at MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards 2006.
