Beacon of Peace Tour To Hit The Northern Region

The train is still being fixed and when all is set, this festive season will witness the crew and the entire team of Tarch House multi media embarking on a tour for the first time in their years of operation.

Dubbed the Beacon of Peace Tour, the organizers led by the CEO and Dema Naa 1st of Tamale, Hafiz Chogu hope to bring a different taste of Christmas in the three regions up north.

The tour aims to send the local musicians in the regions to the their fans who have been listening to their songs on the radio but have not gotten the chance to see them. In an interaction with Dema Naa 1st, he told Flex newspaper that it is time to bring hope to the people in the Northern region. “The people in the north should not be made to believe that their lives depend on politics.

They need hope and assurance in their lives. This is why we are sending this tour to their door steps. The occasion will also be used to visit all the chiefs in every town we will visit to ensure that there is unity among them. Tourist sites in the towns to be visited will also not be left out as Tarch House aims to promote peace in the region through tourist attraction and entertainment” he added.

The message according to the organizers of the tour is based on “EMPOWERMENT OF THE YOUTH IN THE NORTH” and it will take off on 24th December with the people of Bimbila welcoming the train at the community center. That is the beginning and it happens to be eve of the Christmas celebration. The second stop will be at Yendi on 25th December with the concert happening live at the Community center. 26th December will take the train to Tolon still in the northern region where the concert will happen at the community center.

Kumbungu will meet the tour train on 28th December at the community center to have their fare share of the Tarch House cake. Savelugu Nanton will also welcome the team on 29th December at their community center for the Beacon of Peace tour this Christmas. The tour will bid 2010 farewell at Tamale inside the Center for National Culture which will also be the climax of all the tours. A double package has been slated for 1st January still in Tamale. The package consist the premiere of the latest movie from the camp of Movie Africa studios titled the “The Good Old Days: The Love of A.A” at the Picorna Gardens.

The same evening will also witness a club bash which has been running for the past years and recording massive success called the Inferno. The inferno is a gathering of the youth in Tamale which will be preceded by a red carpet occasion.

Some artistes who will be making the tour thick in the region are Mamunatu Ladin, Abu Sadiq, Lil Malik, Tuba Dagomba, Lord Okla, Sherif Ghale and Abada. These artistes are top musicians who make the northern region go round and they have all promised to put up the best of their stage performances.

The Tarch House Beacon of Peace tour is being supported by Cowbell, Dakpema Palace, TV Africa, North Star radio , Flex Newspaper with the actual presentation by Tarch House.
