After riding on the backs of other hiplife artistes for close to a decade,Terry Asare Boamah a.k.a Terror Terry and Kenneth Osei Owusu a.k.a One Pesewa who make up Mframa, are out with an album they can call their own.
The release of the album, Mmaama Mma is a dream come true for the hiplife duo.
Talking to Graphic Showbiz, Mframa said they have been in the music industry for 10 years. ?The need to come out with our own album came after we featured on Te Ma Se, a track on Wutah?s current album. It really triggered the urge to be independent.?
According to the two who are cousins, they realised their musical talent while in school. ? We performed at various shows and even came out with an Nia Aba So which did not do well. This didn?t deter us because we knew music was what we were destined to do.?
Although they are new in the hiplife music industry, Mframa by the quality of their debut album promises to be a force to reckon with. ?Mmaama Mma? boasts of two remix and eight original songs.
The album opens with Ndaa daame which features K.K Fosu and Wutah. One cannot afford to stop listening to this song as it is heavily loaded with well rehearsed chorus from K.K Fosu and Wutah doing the rap in Ga and Twi.
Another fast-paced danceable song is Mmaama Mma the title track which features Santrofi and Fafa. The song appeals to men to take up the responsibility of the upkeep of their children and wives.
On Menya Ahuwoyi which features Wutah, Mframa sing about two friends who went their separate ways due to some misunderstanding but have reunited for a good course. This is to say unity is strength.
Songs like Dewasa, Arama and Mebo So which features Chosa are some of the songs on the album. These are well treated songs.
All the songs on the album were written by the two and produced by B-Polash Entertainment.
