Ghanaian genre-defying artist continues to dominate the music space, securing the number one spot on Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube simultaneously for two weeks with his new single, "Kilos Milos".

The single debuted at number one within 24 hours of its release across all Ghanaian music charts and quickly climbed on other charts across the African continent, further solidifying his position as one of the most promising talents in African music.

"Kilos Milos" gained viral traction with its performance video featuring the stylish artist in CUNNINGZ armoured-corseted rebel costume.

Known for his unique blend of Afrobeat and Hip Hop, Black Sherif continues to captivate audiences with his raw lyricism. "Kilos Milos" showcases his versatility as an artist, delivering powerful verses over mesmerizing production by Kwame Agger and Joker Nharnah, following the success of his widely acclaimed street anthem, "Shut Up".

Black Sherif has been teasing the release of his sophomore album, scheduled for this year. Recently honored with the Best Hip-Hop and Hip-Life Artiste award at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, he also headlined one of Africa's largest festivals, Afrofuture. He was ranked as the second most streamed artist globally on Audiomack in 2023.

Hailing from Konongo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Black Sherif, born Mohammed Ismail Sharif Kwaku Frimpong, has risen against all odds to become the country's biggest star.

Embracing a diverse musical palette that spans Afrobeats, highlife, and Ghanaian drill, he showcases his wordplay, storytelling, and linguistic versatility. The breakout success of "First Sermon" and "Second Sermon" in 2021 catapulted Black Sherif onto the international stage, with "Kwaku The Traveller" solidifying his superstar status in 2022.

Since his debut album in 2022, "The Villain I Never Was", Black Sherif has cemented his place as one of Africa’s most influential creative voices, amassing massive global streaming numbers. He was the most streamed Ghanaian artist on Spotify in 2022 and 2023, and holds the record for the most streamed Ghanaian artist of all time on Boomplay.

Black Sherif has achieved these milestones in record time, playing a pivotal role in pushing African music to global audiences.
