Fast rising artiste, Bradley Barley believes his style of singing and genre of music (Rhythms and Blues) places him in a unique position.
Barley, aged 22, who hails from La in Accra but is resident in China, is out with his latest single ‘Addiction’.
The song talks about love, passion and betrayal, he told The Spectator Agoro in Accra.
Barley said besides singing, he also has a passion for acting and had starred in a number of movies, including ‘Number One Fan’, a Juliet Ibrahim film.
He maintained that most artistes were following the crowd and not their passion which explains why most of the songs had the same rhythm.
“I have recorded four singles that are already making waves internationally and in Ghana” he told this Reporter.
Touching on why his album had delayed, Bradley said he was not in competition with anyone, “so I am working hard to bring out positive and interesting songs”.
Barley said he had on some occasions performed at shows in the country including the Asafotufiam Festival held recently.
Asked who he admired in the music industry, he replied “I love Daddy Lumba’s music, and I really want to meet him before I leave for china. I sing love songs just as he does”
He urged fellow artistes to avoid empty songs in order to be recognized on the international market.
His three singles include ‘My Thing, ‘Feeling you’ and ‘Why’.
