“When I choose God as the title of my new album next month, my friends were like, why God. God has done a lot for me, I have passed through a lot of challenges and God saw me through that is the reason I choose God as the title of my latest track.
I need no introduction because Ghanaians know my capabilities but for the benefit of the young once or people who just started enjoying my music, Castro was born in Takoradi and schooled there as well. I come from a family of musicians because, my mum sings, my brother as well as my sisters.
I know my single track Under Fire has enjoyed air play but the latest one which is yet to be released next month titled God is something else.
My yet to released album God features, Batman, Praye, Blinks, 4X4 and many others, however the 10-track album fetures hits as Concentrate , Use your head, among others.
I want to use this opportunity to tell Ghanaians to put a stop to pirating because it is taking us out of business. We struggle to come to come out with our music and people just use their, pen drives, external and to pirate it. I don’t think it is the best. If you love me I don’t think you will pirate my music.
Pirating disturbs us because our producers don’t get the money to pay us the artists. I think it about time MUSIGA does something about it for us.”
Castro in an interview with Sunday World said he was getting married next year but he is also encouraging every Ghanaian to grab a copy of his music next month when it is released.
“I thank God and Wenji entertainment for making my album a successful one. “My funs I will never let you down”, keep the fire burning and expect something different this time around says Castro.”
