‘Alomo’ crooner, Chase Forever, has put on hold the official launch of his upcoming ‘Unappreciated’ album until the ongoing 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil is over.

The album was supposed to be on the shelves this month (June 2014).

According to sources close to the Ghanaian R&B singer, everybody’s attention is on football at the moment and it would not make economic sense to release an album at this time.

Last month, Chase Forever organised an album listening ceremony to give the media an opportunity to listen to the entire songs on the album before the official album launch. Present at the album listening event were award-winning producer Gafacci, Mugeez, Delay, rapper Treasure, Charlotte Face of Vienna City, comedian Hogan and a host of others.

Songs on the upcoming album include ‘Survivor’, ‘Pull Me Down’, ‘Boozman Anthem’, ‘Dance For Me’, ‘Crazy Love’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Blow You Away’, ‘Cookie’, ‘Don’t Cry When I’m Gone’ and ‘Crazy Love’.

Chase is hoping to break new barriers with the new album.
