Chemphe to launch 2nd album

Chemphe will be celebrating the launch of his second studio effort ‘Why (You Dey Treat Am Bad) ending of this month.

Since Ghanaian singer/songwriter Chemphe (pronounce: chem-fe) introduced his own style of music which he called Urban Life (a fusion of soulful R&B vocals and grooves from Ghana, West Africa he has not looked back.



The day set aside for this launch is 25 November at the Coconut Groove Regency Hotel and the general public is invited.



Support will be coming from 2 Ga (a Flava Records artiste) who will also be singing ‘Oye Ohemaa’, a song he dedicates to domestic violence from his album.



“25 November is a day set aside to eliminate all forms of domestic violence in the world and I have taken it upon myself to help in this project”, Chemphe said in phone interview.



His latest album, ‘Why (You Dey Treat Am Bad) connects to listeners of all ages.

The new CD is in two parts which is the “Make You Know No Treat Am Bad” and other part “Krokrono (Treat Her Right)”.



Chemphe will be unleashing 4 new songs on this eclectic collection of contemporary R&B, mellow soulful and blockbuster tracks which are ‘Why (You Dey Treat Am Bad), the original version on live instrumentation, ‘Why (You Dey Treat Am Bad) reloaded featuring Tinny, Castro, Wutah & Scooby Selah, ‘Why (You Dey Treat Am Bad) Part 2 featuring Ball of Skillions and ‘Chocolate On You’.
