Chocolate Flow Entertainment, a group of young educated Ghanaian DJs with a bright vision in the East Coast of U.SA. The group consists of Bernard Annor (Founder of Chocolate Flow) popularly known as Bishop from Hackettstown, NJ, Yaw Amankwah, Jnr from Newark, New Jersey, Kofi Bonsu from Newark ,New Jersey and Frederick Atakora from Orange, New Jersey.
A lot of times the young Ghanaian communities from the East Coast do not have a place where a group of young Ghanaians can go and have a nice party with a club like atmosphere. Most of the time there will be outdoorings, wedding receptions, birthdays, babyshowers, and etc, where Ghanaians would go to, to have a good time and we are trying to change that. We are trying to bring a lot of excitement to the Ghanaians in the East Coast of ages of 18-40 years.
People enjoy the music we play (especially hiplife which is becoming bigger everyday). The hits right now in the East Coast are VIP's "Ahomka Womu, Akyeame's ?Menko Meda?, Nana Quame?s ?Atia Donko?, Sydney?s ?Scenti No? and Castro?s ?Sradenam?. We just want people to have fun and enjoy, no interruptions at our parties. You will party the night away and enjoy fantastic music.
A lot of people are appreciating the work we are putting into the community. We recently threw a Christmas Bash in Newark, NJ at African Globe Studio Dec. 27th 2003 which was a big success. It was a big turnout, we sold advance tickets which were sold out and the people that even paid gate fee were also a big turnout. People want us back for more so our next Jam is on July 3rd 2004 at The Center in Newark, NJ. You can go to Ghanaweb.com for more details which will be posted ASAP.
We expect this Jam to be even bigger and better because of the success we had the first time and the way people are talking about us on the streets. We also DJ any type of Ghanaian occasion and play all types of music. We are a very dedicated team and our mission statement is "By Any Means Necessary" By any means to take care of our task we are there, whether it be rain, snow, sleet, or hail.
Our website will be up soon and we will like people to check that out. If you would like to get to know more about us @ www.chocolateflow.com and can also e-mail any one of us with the first names above @chocolateflow.com with the exceptions of Bernard, popo@chocolateflow.com and Frederick freddy@chocolateflow.com.
We also have another side of Chocolate Flow which consists of Oswald Kotei (Ozzie), Kwasi Kuffour (Dadajei), Ben, Paa Kwasi, Fifi and Naasei. These people are the backbone of Chocolate Flow. Mostly any event we DJ or anything we want to put together they are alongside with us. They give us a lot of support and we appreciate them a great deal. Anyone is free to join whether it be male or female. We hope to move to bigger places in the future where we will also do shows in Ghana and the UK. God Bless All.
