The most fascinating aspect of the 2018 Wireless Festival set design was the screen portraying images of line-ups which have come and gone.
Davido was the man of the hour as he set the Wireless Festival stage on fire with a stellar performance on the second day of the music event.
Despite big names like, UK Grime rapper, Stormzy, Migos and A Boogie With Da Hoodie listed as headline acts for the Saturday leg of the festival which kicked off on Friday, July 6, it was Nigeria's own Davido who was the star of the day.
Performing on the main stage, Davido packed with energy, got some of the loudest cheers from the sold-out crowd as he rendered a number of his career spanning hit songs.
Hours before climbing on stage, Davido had been spotted backstage wearing a red top with the inscription, ''Long Live Olu'', which is a tribute to his late friend, DJ Olu, who died mysteriously in 2017.
But despite earlier controversy surrounding the time of his performance, it wasn't until exactly around 5.30pm, when Davido was ushered on stage by his personal disc jockey, DJ Ecool.
Spotting the national colours of the English National team, Davido jumped on stage hyping the fans as he began his set with his 2012 hit song, 'Ema Dami Duro'.
He was to also perform songs like 'If', 'Aye', 'Fall' and his 2018 hit single, 'Assurance', that had the mammoth crowd jumping all through his performance.
Davido also brought out Mayorkun on stage as the duo performed his songs, Mama and 'Cheche'.
