Dezmon 2Tu Gears For First Album Release

Dezmon 2Tu, adds his name to the hiplife register Dezmon 2Tu, Ghana?s latest hiplife, entrant is set to launch his debut album, ?Hiplife; the New Chapter Remix? next Tuesday in Accra.

Dezmon 2Tu has been described as an emerging exciting young artiste with imaginative lyrics. The track, ?Odo letter?, especially, is said to be one of the most powerful songs about estranged love in recent Ghanaian music. A man promises his lover the whole world only to abandon her, once he arrives in London.

Throughout the album, Dezmon 2Tu raps with a powerful flow and devastating beats.

?Hiplife: The New Chapter Remix? was recorded in Accra and remixed in London by Vico Mensah and Kwesi Owusu, the executive producer. It features world-class musicians including Alf Bannerman, the ace Ghanaian guitarist. He plays sensational rock guitars on Petuo, the lead track, which also features Tinny.

Other significant collaborators include Hammer, hiplife?s leading producer and many of fellow under grounders. They contribute to making this album, one of the most innovative hiplife albums of the year.

?Hiplife: The New Chapter Remix? is released on cassette and CD by Storm Records, a subsidiary of Creative Storm and distributed by Lucky Sounds.

The free launch will feature the release of the petuo video and a PowerPoint presentation on hiplife.
