The Award winning Artistes; Diana Hamilton, Ohemaa Mercy and Sonnie Badu are internationally acclaimed and world renowned for their fantastic musical ability. Accessible and highly spiritual as well as entertaining, their music is a celebration of the inspirational power of African Gospel.
Destined to be a rousing time of praise and worship, the event's goal is to commemorate 54 years of Ghana's independence and also promote the release of Diana Hamilton's hot new EP, PAPA REIGNS. Not only will the rafters be raised in praise, but a portion of ticket sales will go to support Sonnie Badu's sponsorship to Weija Leprosarium.
This will be the first time, Mercy Twum-Ampofo aka Ohemaa Mercy will be performing in the UK. Already the enthusiasm is building up with a lot of people buying tickets from across Europe. The chanting of “wobeye Kese” Ohemaa's title track on Ghanaian media circles across Europe is causing anxiety to many who are looking forward to this great day.
Co-Founders of Ultimate Praise and Organisers of Africa Gospel Music Awards, Allen and Charles, are excited about the opportunity to bring Ghanaians in UK together for a time of praise and thanksgiving. Under the distinguish patronage of His Excellency Prof. Kwaku Danso-Boafo, this event is going to be an annual event where one guest artiste will join from Ghana each year.
