Wed, 5 Dec 2007 Source: ghanamusic.com

Hip-hop is a history of the American culture, when the Run-DMCs, Jam Master Jays, NWA, Kool Hercs, Afrika Bambaataas, started the movement they probably never imagined that one day it will explode to many countries which will make musicians continue the movement.

Another young chap has taken up the mantle to continue the hiphop and has scored As on his sheet is Disastrous.

Well right now, what’s really popping in Disastrous camp is his street album, “Ghana Made, American Influenced”. This street album is just gonna be crazy after he starts distributing CDs on the street. The streets have been waiting. His loyal fans are there to support him.

Although a lot of his peers have able to secure deals with big labels and gotten quick fame, Disastrous had grown relationships with the streets. He is gradually becoming one of the greatest songwriters in Texas Hip-Hop.

“I will be giving out for free CDs of my album in Ghana and America. This is a movement and I everyone to support me make it a reality”, the African King said.

On Ghana Music.com, loyal readers and music video viewers posted positive comments on his article and video since he made his presence on the site.

Nana B, a frequent visitor of Ghana Music.com said “There are a lot of underground Ghanaian rappers in the US. I got mad love for all those repping Ghana in their music. Disastrous, you definitely repping Ghana, so I got nothing but respect for you. I hope you humble yourself and listen to this advice, when you make music you need to let people fall in love with. You seem like the cat who raps real stuff so your first song should have told us about you. You said you repping the hip hop movement”.

Disastrous, the freestyle king has hiphop heads like Canz, Gibril the African, Treasure Chest, Urban Network, Young Rich, Big Lez, Young Ice and Soldiers on the album.

As he has always told me, it’s a movement so let’s join in helping. Calls are welcomed by calling 0016466832970 or visit myspace.com/disastroustheafricanking.
