The rising fame of Jay Ghartey is unfolding all across Africa as he is receiving massive support from the East African countries, in particular the large nations of Uganda and Kenya.
This massive support for the Ghanaian RnB singer, songwriter, philanthropist and producer, Jay Ghartey came as a result of his soft and heart touching "My Lady" remix with the East African top model and artiste, Juliana Kanyamozi who recently won best East African Artist in the prestigious Kora awards held in Abidjan.
The "My Lady" Juliana remix has received massive airplay in both capitals, Kampala and Nairobi in Uganda and Kenya respectfully. To follow up on the success of the collaboration the two artists have recently dropped a new single called "Love You Better" which critics have called a "mind blowing collaboration" and which is sure to become a hit and anthem in African music this year.
According to insiders in the East African music scene the collaborations have received hundreds and hundreds of rotations and airplay in the capitals of Kenya and Uganda.
Jay Ghartey has planned to travel to both countries to do shows, shoot videos and meet his fans. He has had fans there for a few years and the collaborations with Juliana seemed to have solidified his presence in East Africa as a major star.
Jay was quoted "I believe in the unity of Africa and I am so excited and passionate about working with Juliana and will continue to make more songs with her. I am a Pan-Africanist and I believe that our generation has to make more efforts to work together, share values and spread love and this is one of my aims."
Jay Ghartey has promised to shoot the video soon to establish and strengthen the relationship between him and the Ugandan fans.
