After any new comer hits limelight, he collides with skeptical analysts who normally don’t foresee the longevity of the act. However, Ghanaian artiste Edem, formerly known as Ayigbe Edem has soared above all these critics with versatility and creativity.

Making a debut with Volta Regime album with Keva as a major hit, Edem has not looked back as he has put in more effort to make his craft unique.

The star brought something new for the market thus rap in Ewe language which prior to that, had not been effectively explored by any musician. Many doubted the sustainability of his style yet he has pursued it to date.

He has recently gained an endorsement deal from liquor brand Absolute Vodka as an ambassador and this adds to the deal he has with Glo, a telecommunication network. The artiste recently became a major subject for discussion when he disclosed that he has never done drugs and doesn’t intend to.**
