ONE OF Ghana’s upcoming gospel stars, Esther Danso, who is fast becoming popular on the Ghanaian gospel music scene, is out with her new album, ‘Adom Arakwa’.
Knowing very well that it takes perseverance to become a renowned star, the gospel artiste has taken her musical career very seriously, to enable her meet the challenges ahead.
“This album is in fulfillment of a cherished dream I have for my career, which has all along been linked to gospel music,” said the gospel artiste.
Though it is her maiden album, madam Danso is no novice in the music industry, having had stints with a number of prominent musicians.
Her musical career started some years back and her close association with some top star has boosted her image.
Having sung for several years, Esther Danso has a voice and appearance that appeals to both Christians and non-Christians.
The content of her songs are really inspirational. The album, which has ten tracks and two instrumentals, opens with ‘Awurade Beka Ama Me’, which has an afro beat to it, making it irresistible. It talks of the need for one to communicate with God because without Him nothing is possible.
The album has songs like ‘Adom Arakwa’, ‘Bra Na Obegye Wo’, among others. She told BEATWAVES that as a young enterprising gospel star, she intends to use her music to educate people about the need to take Christ as their personal saviour and also win souls for Him. Esther’s album has good lyrics, arrangements, instrumentation, and sound quality.
