The name Batman will be no more after the night of December 22, 2006. Batman will be 25 years old on that day and is planning a huge event at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.

Lexyfri Productions is busy putting things together for the launch of Samini as Batman's new name in showbiz. Samini, which means 'Rain god', is Batman's surname and was introduced to fans on his latest album with same as title.

Sources say Samini is also expected to launch his 'fight against sickle-cell disease project' during his birthday party at the plush La Palm, where he first launched his 'Samini' album early this year.

It won't be that much of a good news for Samini fans because it shall be strictly by invitation. The release of his latest album attracted strong criticism from radio music reviewers but success of the album so far, is proving the critics wrong.

The year 2006 has been a lucky one for the Raglife Don after he swept a MOBO award in a very competitive category.

On Saturday December 23, there will be another big event at the Trade Fair Site in La, Accra, to crown it all for the masses with a minimum rate of thirty thousand cedis per head.

Samini shall then have the opportunity of doing a live band performance with his fans from all sections of society. How many more days are there on your calendar before the 22nd and 23rd of December? Better start counting because the Samini bomb is ticking.
