Few months ago, ‘Gbee Naabu’ by prolific rapper Yaa Pono, became the number one trending song in the country both radio and TV, but for some reasons, the hit diss track couldn’t make way onto the rapper's official debut album ‘Faster Than gods’.
According to the rapper, plans had already been made for the album’s release and tracks had also been selected, therefore ‘Gbee Naabu’ which became a hit track in the country and still receiving massive airplay couldn’t be featured on his new album.
The Tema based rapper was speaking at the launch of his debut ‘Faster Than gods’ album at Django Bar.
‘Faster Than gods’ become the rappers first official album with over 20 hit tracks. The album features multiple award winning rapper Sarkodie, the undoubted dancehall artiste Samini, VRMG boss Edem, Episode, Gemini, Cabum among other great musicians both locally and internationally.
Known for his controversial lyrics, tracks featured on his new album are something that will surely get people talking as always. Among the songs on the album are Mr. Lucifer, Devil, Olo and other 17 hit tracks.
