George Darko, Agya Koo Nimo To Rock With Osibisa At MOGO 2006

After a thrilling performance at last year's Music of Ghanaian Origin festival, Osibisa - the internationally acclaimed Ghanaian group ? is set for a come back to rock Accra once again.

This year's awards, which are sponsored by Citi 97.3 FM, will take place on Friday December 1 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Osibisa will reappear by special request, with full complement of its original band, to fete revelers to their acclaimed blend of music. Also on the bill is the ace guitarist George Darko ? and with a long line-up of top highlife performers, including Ben Brako, Paapa Yankson, Thomas Frimpong, Paulina Oduro and Agya Koo Nimo, this is a concert you cannot afford to miss.

The week-long MOGO celebration starts with a launch on Saturday November 25 at the Apatakese Ase of the Kumasi Cultural Centre, amidst a variety of Ghanaian music and dance forms from different regions of Ghana.
