Ghana meets Naija on “Otirikonkon”

When one hears the name Ghana meets Naija, what comes to mind is a musical competition concert between Ghanaian and Nigerian artists. But “Otirikonkon” unlike the competition, is a unity musical, history making event.

Mr. Magic and Gemini, two major hip-hop artist from Nigeria and Ghana respectively are about to drop one of the biggest soundtracks, “Otirikonkon,” and musical video that has been heard or seen in a long time.


“Otirikonkon” a Nigerian Yoruba word meaning you ain’t seen nothing yet, is Mr Magic’s track, which featured Gemini.


A wild danceable tune produced by Slimbo, the track saw both artists delivering dope push lines and impressive lyrical style.


As if Mr. Magic and Gemini where in a duo musical group, they both combined perfectly their rap styles, delivery and local dialect to produce one of the best collaborations seen and heard in a long time.


The video directed by Nana Kwesi Asare of Urban Power Play Philms, also did justice to the song interpreting and depicting Mr. Magic and Gemini's lyrical content with clear and quality pictures.

The song is set to be released on the 15th October and the video on the 1st November 2013, the birthday of Mr. Magic.


Bigstizee Gabz, the manager of Mr. Magic disclosed, “The Otirikonkon sound track and video is and will be one of the best tracks Ghana, Nigeria and the whole world have ever heard and seen, so the world should watch out”.
